These stacks allow you to keep the great riding characteristics of the V4 engine and also get a bit deeper growl upon full throttle that everyone loves. The one thing we didn't want to do was lose any power! After several versions tested on our software and on the dyno, we finally found the perfect set up for keeping the oem power the same as stock below 9,000 rpm and yet were able to get up over 5 rwhp towards redline! Actually +10 rwhp on redline as the stock bike simply falls on its face above 9,500 rpm. We spent countless hours on the stack design for these engines as VFR owners are known to be very picky and have high expectations. However, in typical Honda form, it is very choked up! They do this for many reasons, mainly noise compliance. We have many VFR800 customers and the #1 performance comment has always been "I wish she had more top end!" The VFR800 is one of the best all around bikes. These EDR CBR600RR Velocity stacks are 100% designed, developed, tested and produced IN HOUSE at our race shop and dyno tested in our complete Dynojet 250i dyno inside an INC temp controlled dyno facility.The EDR Performance Honda VFR800 Gen 6 (2002-2013) Velocity stack kit is here! Professional installation is always recommended however there are no special tools needed. Also our stacks maintain their structure up to 300* temperatures, while others will fail. Installing from start to finish takes less than 30 mins time! Unlike the others "carbon" stacks, ours are impervious to all chemicals (race fuel) while theirs are NOT!. We had over 7 designs tested until finally finding the perfect blend of smooth stock like low end and throttle response now with strong top end that allows the bike to pull all the way to 15,000 rpm rev limit! Our EDR CBR600RR Velocity stack kit will allow you to have a much stronger midrange and off corner drive and for once, also have a strong top end that doesn't fall off (stop making power) at 13,500. We kept the same power and torque curve as close as possible to the stock set up to ensure you have a smooth power band, however as you can see with our stacks the power does not drop off at the top end! It continues well past 15,000 rpm. Thanks to EDR Performance, our latest velocity stack kit improves power throughout the entire RPM range, especially in upper midrange and top end, right where these CBR600RR's need it! Honda is notorious for "choking" their bikes' intake systems down, especially in the USA. ![]() However, since designed in 2006 for the 2007 year, it has evolved very little and many CBR600RR owners have felt let down in the overall power and top end of the bike.
